• Facilitate the Alaska Oceans Network information sharing, communications forum for ocean conservation organizations working in Alaska
• Design and manage a successful campaign to protect important North Pacific Ocean habitat by prohibiting destructive bottom trawling (375,000 square miles of ocean habitat were closed to bottom trawling in February 2005)
• Design and manage a campaign to develop and implement a vision for the future of ocean management in the North Pacific region
• Design and manage a campaign to reform the activities of the Marine Stewardship Council
